Mary ATKINSON) was born circa Nov 1767 Stamfordham, NBL, ENG, Age at burial implied born abt 1764, but with the Stephen name running through the family, this looks a highly likely baptism.5,3 He was baptized on 29 Nov 1767 Stamfordham, NBL.3 He married Mary Atkinson say 1795 ?Stamfordham, NBL, ENG.2,1,6,7,8
     Robert Fairbairn died in Jul 1820 Middle Farm, Par. of Chollerton, NBL, ENG.5 He was buried on 30 Jul 1820 St Giles, Chollerton, NBL, ENG, aged 56 of Middle Farm.5
Are any of the Northumberland FAIRBAIRN families a dna match to those on the Scottish Borders? Would be interesting to find out - but to do that we need either paper trails, or a direct male line FAIRBAIRN willing to join the DNA project to find out (see side menu.)9
