(NB It was initially thought that this cert. was the Robert married to Elizabeth YOUNG, given the informant was a dtr in law E FAIRBAIRNS and that it was registered in the same district where Elizabeth nee YOUNG had died, informant her dtr in law E S FAIRBAIRN. However the use of FAIRBAIRNS, as opposed to FAIRBAIRN, is unknown in the latter family, and the Spring Field address of the E FAIRBAIRNS dtr in law was that of Robert FAIRBAIRNS' son William and his wife Elizabeth FAIRBAIRNS in 1871 and 1881.)1,4,8,9
